Biography

My education

My passion for the wine world was born thanks to the land that always surrounded me: the hills.
My work experience matured after I graduated as Wine Technician in 1991, at the Umberto I Agricultural Technical Institute in Alba, already known as Alba Wine School.
After being in charge of an analysis laboratory in one of the main wine-growing consulting firms in Monferrato, I worked as wine technician first at a family-owned winery and then at a multinational company. My professional growth continued with my work as a enologist at Giacomo Bologna’s Cantina Braida for almost twenty years.

The new working life

From July 2018, what I like to call my second working life has began, becoming a wine consultant.
My will is to bring my thirty-years experience to the companies I work with today.
My professional goal is to personally and constantly follow every step, from the vineyard to the winery, because a good wine comes only from an excellent production chain.
These are the main vines to which I focus my attention nowadays: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Pinot Nero, Chardonnay, Freisa, Dolcetto, Cortese, Timorasso, Grignolino, Moscato, Merlot, Cabernet, Sauvignon Blanc, Arneis. Surely this list is just partial, as my interest and my passion for the wine world are always looking for new horizons and opportunities.

My education
